I had another little adventure along the beautiful Natchez Trace Parkway:) I revisited Metal Ford, but a little further down than last time. Then I traveled just a little ways to Jack’s Branch. Metal Ford is a good place to take a family to picnic & swim in the Buffalo River. Some people try to tube or kayak some of the rapids, too:) Jack’s Branch, on the other hand, is not an area to swim. There is a little water flowing through the backside of it, but it’s very shallow. But Jack’s Branch is a great place to picnic, especially with a large group! There’s a small building with bathrooms as you first drive up! Then you walk down gorgeous stone steps to the picnic area. There’s grills & big trash cans placed all throughout the area, so bring large trash bags & take your own trash back with you. Also, bring your charcoal & lighter fluid/matches, etc with you, of course. It’s so peaceful down there. 🩵#fypシ #foryoupage #nature #tiktok #fyp
