I held my breath with him, as someone without breathing problems, and even i started to panic before he was in the seat. its so sad that anyone should have to go though this, let alone the people who already struggle the most

This shouldn't be an issue if the airlines and Boeing designed ADA compliant spaces on the aircraft and airports staffed ADA specialists. I am certain that there is a need for ADA specialists to help in these situations.

I boarded a plane disabled once and although I was 6 years old at the time. I will never forget how uncomfortable it was. Luckily I’m no longer disabled but I think often about how much less space air plains have now. The experience has to be worse.
