it was quite difficult, but I managed. You have to tilt your phone downwards, so that your eyes are barely able to see the screen. This will make the image compress and see more horizontal movement than vertical. Don't focus your eyes on the image, but rather look a bit above it, seeing it from the corner of your eye. When you see the spinning motion, try to think about the less lighted part as it going clockwise, like it's the front part of a ship. You lose the illusion real fast when focusing at the image because the lighted parts make it almost impossible to see it the other way, as it doesn't allow the shadowy part to blend in.
