It's cauld dark miserable and grey, worked there for years, freezing 90% of the time and got the hard neck to be nicknamed the sunny city I heard.

Dundee is a great place to visit. Great architecture and history , the waterfront is amazing. Also great walks. And if you can visit Broughty Ferry, the harbour and beach are fantastic. All family friendly.

I was born in Dundee. Grew up in Carnoustie up the coast a bit. Spent my student years living in Dundee. Moved away when I was 24. Both sides of my family from Dundee, with Irish roots. Dundee is special to me. And the river tay is the jewel. ❤️

Dundonian here, there are rough areas in every city/town! But Dundees history is amazing, as it was referred to Dundee city of discovery & not just RRS Discovery. We have a language of our own! We call roundabouts circles these make it unique!!
