honestly know yall will eat me up for this... i work in the veterinary field every day... I WANT EVERYONE TO UNDERSTAND THIS ISN'T A PROCEDURE, I LIKE. I only think it should be an option with lasers (in caps so yall understand -> I do not like it... but ill be so clear... a cat with a home without claws is better than a cat homeless or a cat in a shelter... time is ticking! Also I personally know many people that had there cat proir to illness... then the illness made it so they had to take blood thinners daily -> she just couldnt get scratched... I dont expect everyone to understand, but there is a place for it in veterinary medicine... however I do agree.. if the only reason you want your cats claws removed is bc of your furniture -> my clinic will not even hear you out. hugs and love to everyone dont send me hate... i do so much volunteering, fostering, working daily with these precious gifts from god.... and I completely understand the view of many on the topic... and more times than not i agree with yall! but there are those special circumstances!
