@makeupbymegan_6e23: Replying to @🌱🪻AceWeirdo🪻🌱 I've done multiple parts of 5 things to never say to a chronically ill/ disabled person, so I thought I would offer some alternatives :) Speaking from experience, chronically ill/ disabled people are often in so much pain from their condition, have tried literally everything to feel better (and it either doesn't work, or just makes us worse), and are grieving the fact that this is most likely their life for the rest of their life. We've been to several doctors that just take our money and give us medical trauma in return, and if they're one of the good ones, they tell us there's nothing they can do since chronic illnesses do not have a cure/ are under-researched. We just want to feel seen and supported, especially through the harsh reality that we face. These are just my personal opinion/ what would make me feel better.
