i might be wrong, but i saw somewhere that the 85% also accounts DLCs, PS5 upgrade editions from normal games and deluxe edition upgrades of games. now I'm not sure if that's the case but, it would make the 85% claim more believable. Please let me know if I'm wrong about this tho

here's another thought to skew that statistic. remember those "free" games you get every month if you pay Sony's subscription? every time you hit "add to library", you get an email from Sony saying "Thank you for your PURCHASE". they count that as 3-4 digital purchases every month.

they use the "but steam is digital only" argument, the difference is that steam actually cares about its customers and users by giving basically daily discounts that make 60 dollar games go to 7 dollars, plus physical gaming is physically impossible with newer games on pc like gta 5 had like 7 disks or something which made the installation miserable

also, it's sales not games. so if you bought a game physically then bought a dlc and a microtransaction for it, it would count as 1 physical sale and two digital sales

BF6 has a memory leak in the new update and when I posted it the mods removed the post like why because this is a problem and I have 8gb vram and half of it is still available but the game crashes because it has not enough vram
