@wayuphigher: UZBEK BULLET AND SLEEPER TRAINS • UZBEKISTAN Don’t come for me, this is my first voiceover 🤣 Samarkand to Bukhara Afrosiyob bullet train was 2 hours long and cost 332,000 Som each (as we went business class) which is about £20 each. The sleeper trains were Coupe trains and Bukhara to Khiva was 210,000 Som (~£13). The train departed at 07.42h although initially was listed for 8am so please remember to double check the notice boards at the stations or ask staff if there are any changes to the timings as some people may have missed this train (which explains why we ended up with cabins to ourselves considering these trains usually are fully booked). This train was 6h9m long! Khiva to Tashkent was 348,500 Som (~£21). The overnight train left at 18.00h and arrived the next morning at 08.22h. This is the most cost effective ticket as you save on the hotel cost for this night! This train was very clean and a lot more modern than the Bukhara train which is a relief as you’re on it for so long! 14h20m to be exact! If you’re travelling solo and decide to impulse buy tickets at the station, I believe there is some in reserve however these are in the sharing carriages (16 beds) and you must visit the station ticket office a few days in advance to book for your ticket. #uzrailways #uzbekistan #uzbekistantrains #sleepertrains #muslimtravel
