“Like we do”? My experience is that people who ask “why” have zero reflection much less self reflection. Asking why people are doing things that makes you feel hurt is a sign of deep immaturity.

It took me years to realize that they would never stop and never admit to what they did. It was never ending cycles. Once I was finally healed, I just walked away. No fights, expanations, etc, I just left. It was the best decision I ever made. I just cut off their access to me. Peace is so so worth it.
