As a crime scene investigator, when I have a baby/child death, I NEVER leave their side until the Medical Examiner comes to pick up the body. I can assure you and anyone else, children are never alone, it hits so much harder than any typical death. 😞

As a Paramedic with 40 years of service this is never easy for any of us. We feel your pain and it is heartbreaking when people whose job it is to help are unable to and there's nothing we can do or say to ease the pain of the family. I would like to suggest that you join a parental bereavement group and ask that you bring someone with you when you visit. Sending prayers and love to you and your family.

I’m a paramedic and I keep a memorial stone in a music box for each baby we couldn’t save. They will always hold a special place in my heart. Even though she’s gone I can promise you she’ll never be forgotten ❤️
