@washingtonpost: Neil the Seal has made his mark on Seven Mile Beach in Tasmania, using street signs, road poles, and other local infrastructure to help him shed his skin. The 5-year-old elephant seal comes ashore twice a year during mating season and moulting season. Onlookers have been drawn to watch the internet sensation headbutting into signage and scraping against street poles. Local officials have limited traffic on local roads and urged crowds to give Neil his space as he completes his moulting process.
