what’s the point tho? is it to just read faster? are you getting more out of it? i really like having an inner dialogue it helps me connect with the emotion of the conversation and or just what’s happening, so out of curiosity what is the benefit besides just being able to read more per hour

Does anyone else see words as you read and then eventually they disappear and a movie forms in your head?? I have the hardest time with movie adaptations of books I’ve read because I’ve already created the movie. Lmao!

I read along with an audiobook at 3.5x speed. The kindle app also tracks the words on screen which helps also

as someone who mainly listens to audiobooks, doing something that needs focus with my hands is very useful. also, increasing speed makes the brain more focused and you can finish the book in 1/2 the time.
