We didn’t need to know what was in Brenton Tarrant’s heart when he opened fire and slaughtered Muslims in a Christchurch mosque. We didn’t need to know what was in Omar Mateen’s heart when he massacred the LGBTQ+ community at an Orlando nightclub. We knew exactly what it was: violent hate. But when a criminal firebombs a Jewish community space in Boulder while shouting anti-Israel slogans, DSA-backed candidate Melat Kiros suddenly claims we "don't know what was in the perpetrator's heart." This isn't a lack of information, it is the deliberate, systematic sanitization of violent antisemitism. The same radicals who built their entire political identities on calling out hate have zero issue with gaslighting Jews when we are targeted in broad daylight.
