I was so disappointed in light wielder 😭 I did finish it but it was such an uphill battle to stay engaged with it. I haven't read the others so grateful for the recommendations as always Book Queen 💕

I don’t think Lightwielder is worth it. It’s not bad, but it pissed me off how much more we should have had. Some side characters were so good and we got NOTHING. The world building disappeared. It felt rushed to just put it out on the heels of Metal Slinger being such a viral hit. It’s fine, but you’re not missing anything and instead, may just feel even more annoyed…

Light Wielder was so disappointing compared to Metal Singer. I also didn’t like the four year jump. We should have picked up where we left off and it could have been 3 books. So much was skipped over and we never revisited some of the things that were introduced in the MS.

I liked?? Light Wielder but I feel like Rachel Schneider missed a major opportunity for some really drawn out tension/hate that could have turned really hot!! They just got over 4 years of betrayal like it was nothing.

I also had to DNF light Wielder ! It was soooooo boring ! And I also hated how easily the betrayal was forgotten about !!! I was so upset because it was a highly anticipated book for me this year ! I made it 100 pages in and called it quits ! I was forcing myself to even pick it up ! So disappointed 😔

Wtmh was one of my favorite reads last year and I did not expect bofd to top it like it did but omg did it. I love when the 2nd book is a little slower but just has a ton of reveals and is more character based. kaan is TOP tier book boyfriend and raeve omg obsessed. like aelin level obsessed with her.

Light Weilder made me so made. I enjoyed Metal Slinger. I'm so mad that I pushed through. Light Weilder was 2 stars for me! It was sloppy and rushed.
