Negative word association. By people using larp instead of poser we are circling back to thinking of larp as a bad thing, because human psyche will associate words and emotions over time. LARP is a harmless hobbie and doesnt deserve to go back to the slander mines

larping means live action roleplay, it has no other connotations because no matter how much people try and push it into being a thing you cant arbitrarily decide how language changes especially when its an anagram. you cant start tryingg to push people into saying wow someones a nasa because they think the earth is flat and have to spend time *correcting* them on every post that no your using nasa to mean someone who thinks the earth is flat not National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
