I love big bang theory 😄😂 it’s easy background mindless tv for me. It’s…easy. but I hear what you’re saying. I do think that we need to be able to have opinions without personalizing it all.

I find that people do this because they find (as you said) huge parts of their identity in the media they consume so when someone criticizes the media, they feel as though their identity is being called into question or judged and that LIGHTS UP the threat detecting neurons 😭
