I have one of the Hallmark recordable Christmas books that my grandparents made for my son. My grandpa has been gone for 11 years now, and we love opening it and listening to him read to us every Christmas. My son is named after my grandpa.💙

Pro tip- record them on your phone ahead of time and then play the recording for the message part if you want to make several lol it’s easier than wrangling a toddler to say it several times 😂 this is what I did for Christmas gifts for all the grandparents

My dad had one of his mom’s voice.. she passed away.. I remember playing with it and re recorded the sound to myself.. I will never forget that day.. he was so so sad and upset with me.. and looking back I totally understand 😭

My mom had me do a motion sensor frame like this when i was young. almost 20 years later and i still love hearing it every time we walk by their fireplace. even on the phone with them you can hear it

I got this and had my mom and dad record saying merry Christmas this past year. My mom died from cancer 5 days before Christmas. I’m so glad I have this recording 😢

Random but I still have a recording on an old target gift card of a friend from high school and I recently changed the battery and it’s weird and super nostalgic to hear their voice as they recorded it all these years later. This is such a good idea for so many reasons.

I HIGHLY recommend one of these! I had recordable ornament when my son's were 3 and 15 we all said HO HO HO MERRRRY CHRISTMAS! It was soo cute my 3 year old said Ho ho ho amery da Christmas. We still play it 15 years later and all chuckle!
