I was brought up poor and we rarely got anything. I attribute that to not wanting to get rid of things because my mind tells me that i may not can afford it again. My daughter on the other hand gets rid of everything.lmo it’s because things have always came easy for her.

Yes this is me. When I moved, I boxed up my son’s childhood books and donated them to a bookstore. That was seven years ago, and I still feel terribly sad about it.

This is exactly me I live in a messy clutter I don’t like it but I need it all I try to do a clear out of clothes from 20 yrs ago that don’t fit me anymore and I wouldn’t even wear them if they did but they end up put back in a wardrobe that never gets opened . I like the idea of having a minimalist home but I can’t get rid of my stuff so if someone visits it gives me high stress trying to hide it all ..

I don't throw things that are brand new away. I think I could resell it, but when no one buys it , I get stuck with it, and refuse to just give it away, or donating it and they make money from it! So I hold onto things. I paid for them and don't want to loose money I've invested in it, just to give away, but I regret buying it cause I really didn't need it to begin with.
