It really doesn't matter... If people want to gossip and lie about you, there's nothing you can do or say to stop them from doing that. The best thing you can do for yourself is to ignore it all and ignore those people too, stop caring about what people say about you. Caring about it won't change a single thing. Just live your life and focus on bettering yourself. Let God fight your battles while you live your life.
