Shachah Ministry :
Fear of God is also being in awe of God an absolute reverence for Him that He is so holy and perfect and I owe my very existence to Him. I am no more than a speck of dust compared to all His creation. This awe leads to humility and challenges our ego in the most profound way possible.

Blessed5607 :
I sometimes ask myself, If God was to be before me or just there where i can SEE Him, would I do what it is i am doing?
If i know i couldn't, then I will not do it.

ofc we fear being away from God, but also there's a reverential fear that we also have with our parents when we were younger, I never had the fear they would abandon me, I still obeyed them

Mmm, I agree in part. Fearing God is revering Him as well. Respecting Him. It’s more nuanced than just “fearing being away from Him”.

Fear of God stems from being afraid to the discipline or scourge from God thats why wisdom start from fear of God that produce learning his ways to not to disobey him.

Fear is generally translated as Yirah (יִרְאָה), meaning awe, reverence, and respect. Terror, however, is often translated as Pachad (פַּחַד), meaning dread or a paralyzing panic, or Emah (אֵימָה), meaning a dread that overtakes enemies. The "fear" the Torah talked about, Jesus translated it into Love. Jesus never told us to Fear God. but to Love him. even 1st commandment doesn't say we should fear God, but Love Him.

The fear of God / being separated from His spirit is prob my main motivator to avoid sin. The fleshly consequences I could handle, but once I realized by choosing sin I’m reinforcing living in my flesh and weakening my ability to hear His Spirit, that terrifies me.
