I do this to my son every night since he was 3. He's 7 now and every night he tidies up the living room, pack toys away and sweeping up any snacks that fell on the floor. Tidy sofa etc.

Feel like 3 is the age where they should be able to start doing things in their own like putting in clothes or cleaning up their toys after they’re done playing

I agree with you! start it early. they can do it at school and nursery so they can do it at home. my 3 year old got a sticker for tidying up good but he dont do it here 😅

After promising me faithfully she would eat the lasagne I bought her at a restaurant my then 3yo refused to eat it so I made her throw her ice lollies in the bin when we got home. She'd been given that warning too. My Dutch husband thought I was harsh but to this day she will eat what is put in front of her outside with zero fuss 😂
