they let me know they'll be helping me in teaching me about the drains and now only that I would have one week follow ip appointment after the surgery, then a month, then next year, he even asked me if I wanted a more masculine build for the chest area and went through eith me the what they'll do, so I think I found a good doctor 😁

I am genuinely curious how top surgery works in the states. Where I live you don't really get to choose which specific surgeon. You go to a clinic or hospital and then you can say it when you have a preference for a surgeon. Also the surgeons don't have results posted. You can only maybe find results from people who shared theirs online.

Is there any information or standards for surgeons outside the USA? The most common info videos give is about therapist letters for insurance, but that's mostly a US thing. There is no insurance in my country, and most surgery is done, no questions asked, with enough money.
