I'm not a Husky guy but that saw sounds nice and it pulls hard without the motor sounding like it's dying. The Tune is bang on and the Chain drag length complements the torque when cutting through the logs

im aussie and use the 500i with a bark box on it runs mint but would almost rather the ms400 also with the us bark box, id almost rather the 400 carb its just as zippy with throttle but almost half the weight. Only problem we have had with the 500i is too much it has too much torque the start to stop on it burns the clutch in it. But again our Aussie trees are just built different abit harder of a wood down this way

My cousin does tree work and he had his chain come off while he was up in a tree it whipped back and sliced his knee super bad. Was like a 10in gash. He’s lucky he didn’t loose his leg. Glad yours just went off into the bush
