so incident vs claim = premium won't increase? Also how will they go about it if it's an incident is it a different process?

Everyone's premium will still increase regardless if you're in the car or not.

I'm NOT saying to lie, just leave it to the insurance professionals to determine who is at fault.

Isn’t it better to skip the insurance if it’s not large damage, as it can be cheaper to cover the repair yourself instead of increasing your insurance premium?

Checking sources, including the police, you DO need to give your name and address.

If it’s not your fault call an claim management company they’ll liaise with the other driver’s insurance company and give you a courtesy and their service is free because they take from the other driver’s insurance money

What the law actually requires in the UK
After an accident, you must give:
* Your full name (first name + surname)
* Your address
* The vehicle registration number (Reg plate)

Can you do a video on why you advise recording it as an incident with your insurers opposed to a claim?

Okay, great. So what are we meant to say to our insurance when they are - borderline - interrogating, us about what happened… By the advice in this video, we’re meant to just say, “don’t know what happened, you lot figure it out” 💀🤣

my son had a crash. clearly it was other drivers fault. the other drive he lied to insurance claimed there was witness when there wasn't. offered to pay for damage before he lied. so insurance said both at fault .

I disagree about liability!! Honesty prevents so much expensive time wasting! My car was written off 2 years ago by a very young driver looking at his phone instead of the road! The police were called and he admitted liability on police camera to avoid a conviction for using his mobile phone while driving! Hopefully he learnt his lesson!
