@storyofsavannah: All you need to know ↓🎾 Yes… you really can buy Wimbledon Centre Court tickets by camping overnight! 🎟️ ⏰ We arrived at 10:15am the day before and were Queue Numbers 335–337, which meant we were able to buy Centre Court tickets for Day 3 the following morning. 🎟️ How many tickets are available? • Around 500 Centre Court • Around 500 No.1 Court • Around 500 No.2 Court • After that, everyone is offered a Ground Pass (until they sell out), giving access to the outside courts and Henman Hill. If you queue on the morning, you’re most likely to get a Ground Pass, or if you’re very lucky, No.1 or No.2 Court. ⛺️ Want Centre Court? Arrive the day before and be prepared to camp overnight. The earlier you arrive, the better your chances. We arrived at 10:15am, but some people were there from 7am. 🎫 How it works You’ll initially be told where to pitch your tent, then later receive an official Queue Card with your number. Keep this safe—it secures your place in line to buy tickets the next day (it’s not your ticket). 💷 2026 prices • Ground Pass: £33 (early tournament) • Centre Court: from around £115 (increases later in the tournament) • No.1 & No.2 Court tickets are available depending on your queue number. 🏕 What to bring ✔️ Max 2-person tent ✔️ Sleeping bag & pillow ✔️ Camping chair ✔️ Power bank ✔️ Water & snacks ✔️ Warm clothes (it gets cold!) ✔️ Sun cream & hat ✔️ Toiletries & wet wipes ✔️ Something to keep you entertained 📚🎧 🚫 Know the rules • Maximum 2-person tents (we had 3 people across 2 tents). • No BBQs, camping stoves or open fires. • Don’t leave The Queue for long—we left for around an hour for food because someone stayed with our tents. • Card payment only. • You’ll pack up around 5am and can leave your camping gear at Left Luggage before entering the grounds. 💚 Top tip: Download the myWimbledon app before you arrive. If you only get a Ground Pass, you can join the Ticket Resale queue after 3pm for returned Centre Court, No.1 or No.2 Court tickets, usually for £10–15. Would you camp overnight for Centre Court? 🎾👇 #Wimbledon #wimbledonqueue #wimbledon2026

Done it half a dozen times and it’s an absolute blast. You need to think of it less as queueing for 24 hours and more as going for a night camping near Wimbledon and then you get to go see games the next day

If you’re willing to camp/queue for 25 hours then centre court tickets for £120 is pretty good value imo. I could never queue that long but I admire you’re dedication haha

Finally someone who was smart to get in central court. People who camp for the ground tickets do it for the trend.

Silly question, but I never see anyone say - how did you get ready for Wimbledon? Assuming you didn’t attend centre court in the clothes you worth you the day before?
