@minnisphotography: I headed out this evening expecting to spend my time with roe deer. I’ve seen them almost every evening lately, so I thought tonight would be no different. I didn’t see a single one. Instead, the kingfishers were back. That’s one of the biggest lessons nature has taught me. The more you expect one thing, the more likely it is to surprise you with something else. Every walk is different. Every evening writes its own story. The more time you spend out there, the more those unexpected moments seem to find you. Tonight, it was the female kingfisher. And for a few seconds, we shared another quiet moment together. That’s why I keep going. Peace.
