@grandegyptianmuseum: A new chapter begins with the official inauguration of the Grand Egyptian Museum Library, a new centre for knowledge, research, and cultural exchange, established with the support of the French Government and key French partners. Officially inaugurated in the presence of H.E. Mr Sherif Fathy, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of the Arab Republic of Egypt, H.E. Mr Éric Chevallier, Ambassador of France to Egypt, and Dr Ahmed Ghoneim, CEO of GEM, the library reflects the enduring partnership between Egypt and France in advancing culture and knowledge. Home to approximately 17,000 books, the GEM Library will serve researchers, scholars, students, and cultural professionals, while also hosting lectures, book launches and signings, discussions, and other educational and cultural programmes. A place where knowledge, heritage, and discovery come together. يفتتح المتحف المصري الكبير مكتبته الجديدة، لتكون مركزاً للمعرفة والبحث العلمي والتبادل الثقافي، أُنجز بدعم من الحكومة الفرنسية وبالتعاون مع شركائها الرئيسيين من الجانب الفرنسي. وشهد مراسم الافتتاح السيد شريف فتحي، وزير السياحة والآثار، والسيد إريك شوفالييه، سفير فرنسا لدى مصر، والدكتور أحمد غنيم، الرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة المتحف المصري الكبير، في تجسيدٍ للشراكة الراسخة بين مصر وفرنسا في دعم الثقافة والمعرفة. وتضم المكتبة نحو ١٧ ألف كتاب، لتوفر مورداً قيّماً للباحثين والأكاديميين والطلاب والمتخصصين في المجال الثقافي، كما ستستضيف المحاضرات، وحفلات إطلاق الكتب وتوقيعها، والندوات، وغيرها من المبادرات الثقافية والتعليمية. مساحةٌ تلتقي فيها المعرفة بالتراث، لتُلهم الاكتشاف. #GrandEgyptianMuseum #GEM
