Even in luis enriques system he’s overrated he got motm in the ucl final because his pass completion rate was high despite evidently being one of the worst players on the pitch struggling to breakdown or do anything creative against the Arsenal low block. Joao neves covers for him so much defensively and Fabian Ruiz actually gets forward into threatening position. Don’t get me wrong Vitinha is elite and recycling and retaining possession but he needs other elite midfielders with particular moulds to do anything his individual level of impact on a team is pretty small.
