I got an abortion without telling my fiancé. It was the best decision I have ever made. I have never regretted my decision for even a moment. It was definitely the cause of our break up, but I am vehemently child free, wanted to finish school (I have 2 bachelors degrees and a well paying job now), and I’m not trapped in a loveless marriage with someone who didn’t believe in my right to choose or my bodily autonomy. I am constantly grateful to myself for having the strength and courage to go through with it because I absolutely love the life I have now and couldn’t imagine it any other way.

my bf and i are childfree. i got the AB without his knowledge and wasnt sure if i was gna tell him after or not in fear of exactly this situation. i ended up blurting it out and he comforted me and reminded me that it was always MY decision bc its MY body. he was upset i didnt tell him bc he wanted to be the one to bring me to the clinic and be there for me, but he understood my fear and why i did it the way i did.
