@hopehavensshelter: This sweet soul, whom we’ve named Felix, was found in a state of absolute heartbreak. Shivering, terrified, and cornered in an old tiled corner, he has a severe, painful wound on his lower jaw and snout that has left him struggling even to lick his lips. It is devastating to see a dog who has clearly known so much neglect and pain, yet still looks up with a glimmer of hope that someone will finally show him kindness. Felix is now safe with us at Saving Destiny, but his path to healing will be long and challenging. He needs urgent veterinary diagnostic care, x-rays to evaluate the damage to his jaw, intensive antibiotic therapy, and reconstructive wound management. #texas #boston #washington #newyork #usa🇺🇸
