Do you cramp during this exercise? Best way to avoid this is by putting the hips into more extension. By reclining the seat and sliding you butt slightly forward on the seat, it’ll take away the majority of hip flexion. The cramp is cause by your abdominals and hip flexors trying to assist during this movement, resulting in the rectus femoris being a limiting factor in progress and true abduction strength.
