My hair is extremely dry and grows very slowly because of an autoimmune disease. If I had a cent each time somebody told me that 'it's pointless' to try to grow it out - I would be a millionaire. But the thing they forgot - that is not THEIR hair that is MY hair. Totally get you on that point!

I’m with you… 🥲🥲🥲 I remember you n other YouTuber who teach how to appreciate taking care of hair… it inspired me… there is one day, I went to hair shop that offer free scalp consultation… I remember when I told them about wanting long hair, they actually laugh at me 😐😐😐 like really really long hair

So true. Just because it worked for someone else does not necessarily mean that you have to do it too. Sure, it's nice to suggest it but don't tell someone "oh, you would look better if you did this" or "oh, you would look better if you did that". Plus, some people could be sensitive to those kinds of comments.

I think, ppl who say these things are (subconciously) envious and/or have a personal concept of "beautiful hair". I even know ppl who say, if you are over 40, you should cut it because you're too old to have that long hair.
