@bookswithamanda212: Sinister is the best word I can use to describe seeing these teenage girls and young women boasting about being a wife and mother at such a young age with such great conviction. To see them label it as the most fulfilling, or only fulfilling, decision a woman can make. To know that many of them had no real choice in the matter yet are recruiting others to enter a life of inevitable misery. It’s important to encourage young adults to prioritize discovering themselves and their identities through their lived experiences and even through the guidance and wisdom of others. That will set you up for successful beyond relationships and potential parenthood, it will set you up for success in every avenue when you know who you are and what you want. #womenempowerment #feminism #progressives #marriage
