i cant imagine what that first night alone was like after those parents lost their babies, how many hours they must have stayed awake before the exhaustion finally caught up to them. or what the kids were excited or looking forward to doing after school that day. how much it must have hurt coming home to an empty kids bedroom that would never change or grow with their babies anymore. the teachers who died before getting to know if all their kids made it to safety.
