honestly his diagnosis brought me so much comfort. I was dx with dermatomyositis at 48 years ago and I always feel like I'm failing to heal myself. I was extraordinarily healthy (almost Bryan level, (400kms running month, super healthy diet etc) before getting sick but I don't care for myself the same way. this makes it feel a lot more random

my niece has hypothyroidism she os 4 and she also has a lot of issues with iron deficiency 😳 whats is the test to detect this? OMG I hope she doesn't have that. She lives in mexico and she has doctors appointments all the time because of her issues.

You can give IV iron and b12 though so he can supplement his way out of it just not orally. It's not my area of expertise but most patients with this do very well from my understanding.
