Ok but the correlation between usage and hiring doesn’t mean the causation is pretty privilege. It could also be that people who can afford to constantly take it also are in a more affluent and connected group, and can find better opportunities.

I worked terrible dead end jobs for years. 2 years ago I started my weight loss journey. Lost 70lbs and now am average and conventionally attractive. Got hired by a huge company/name. It’s still insane to me that I got this job, but I know my weight loss is part of it.

I see a lot of comments saying maybe they’re more motivated to get a job to cover the costs, but it’s like.. max $500/mo out of pocket. I don’t think that moves the dial compared to the stress of not having work, and would be worth looking at the types of jobs and average salaries and locations (e.g. $500 in NYC is a lot less incremental PP than a rural area) in the study

I think I’ve worked with 1 attractive woman in all the jobs I’ve worked at in my life. So I probably aren’t getting hired at these jobs that do this. Lol

When I was in private wealth management 10 years ago, obviously GLP ones weren’t prevalent then, but I remember one of our wealth advisors being told he was never going to get promoted until he lost some weight, Got a better haircut, and got better suits.
