I cannot stand all the hacks in this space. Because here’s the truth & my story. Four years ago, when I was in the thick of panic attacks and chronic anxiety, I tried EVERYTHING to heal Meds, duh I’m a nurse. Start here. Therapy. Supplements. Running. Hormone therapy.  And NONE of it worked. Maybe for a bit, but it would all come flooding back in so quickly I was already on to the next “fix.” I did not heal through another hack. I didn’t heal through something outside of me. I healed when I finally understood what no one had explained to me: Anxiety is simply a stress response. That’s it. And every single time we run from it, fear it, treat it like an emergency…it reinforces the cycle. The way out is actually quite simple & that might just trigger you a bit.  I healed when I stopped running & ran straight into the fire. I got up and lived my life even when my body was screaming it was impossible. Was it uncomfortable? Yes, but it’s what works.  I’m not telling you to force yourself through fear. I’m telling you to open yourself up to the idea that there is no amount of hacks in this space that are going to fix you. Seeking immediate relief every time you feel uncomfortable…that is exactly what keeps you stuck. This space is keeping you stuck. The way out is simple, and I will preach it til the day I die.
