Anytime my kiddo is hungry she eats. I went without food as a kid and refuse to make her ever go through that. I only spend 75$ a week on groceries and an additional 150$ at the end of the month. I always am couponing and shopping sales.

We’re following the French method of eating. These kids get 3 meals a day (that i meticulously plan) and 1 snack. There’s absolutely no boredom eating. And if they refuse a meal, they don’t get anything else. They can eat their food or wait for the next meal. My job is planning the meal, providing the meal, and setting the schedule. Their job is determining what they eat off their plate or not.

I take advantage of our state’s summer feeding program. It’s available to all kids age 1-18 regardless of income, so maybe check to see if your state participates in the SUN program. It helps us a ton!

Groceries are insane! I don’t know how anyone is able to survive. We spend at least $300 a week & we don’t buy anything fancy or expensive.

Have you thought about trying to make an income online? Enough to help ease the burden of that grocery bill?
