The other issue is the fact the vehicles don’t last like they used to. Motors are blowing up before 100k transmissions are junk right after warranty periods go. Leaving people to have to get into something new in hopes it’ll last longer. But it doesn’t.

I'll NEVER buy a new vehicle again. My last is my 2021 F150.... Going certified used durable make/models from hereon, or simply going old school & doing engine swaps. ✔️

New cars are way easier to get approved on, as well as less interest

The greed has gotten to a breaking point. Everything is more and more and more. Everything goes up except your pay.

Yea but used is the damn near same price as new and u are also gonna end up paying more for used due to the banks wanting more interest rate for a used vehicle than the new one

that's because the system is rigged to MAKE you buy new though. it's just not a matter of wanting to buy new but you have to. to be able to get out of a bad car loan situation for whatever the issue may be. They dont give anything for trades and force to buy new to be able to get out of your loan cause "its less risk to the bank"

People go with new because the car is still under warranty. Car manufacturers make it impossible now to fix a car cheap. If a clip or something minor fails, you have to replace the whole unit as they don’t sell the small broken part. They’re forcing people out of their cars.

I got my car technically used with 900 miles on it in 2021 for 30k. Pay $375 a month. Easy right. Wrong. I’m 23 no accidents or tickets so insurance costs $580 a month. Then gas now costs at least $550 a month. I’ve never missed a payment but man am I coming close now.
