I would still have casual mental breakdowns from time to time due to grief after a year. Something Erica told me during our session really helped me for moments like that, hopefully this could help more people. She said there would be moments where my grief self would come back and talk me down, that's when I should tell her its okay, you don't serve me anymore and I let you go. Everytime I do that I immediately feel better and I get a better connection with my husband. Love never dies, neither did he.

Thank you Erica... I needed this confirmation. I understand the blanket concept, I've been there hiding. I lost my son 1 month ago and it literally feels like someone ripped my heart from my chest. I didn't feel like going on or doing anything until I kind of felt my baby telling me that I'm stronger than this and that I can do this. Losing him at just 20 years old is heartbreaking but I know he is at peace cos he was really sick. I went through the whole process you described. You have to go through the grieving process before you go through the healing process but you will get there, just allow your lost ones to help you and guide you. The grieving process clouds your vision but when you start to heal you allow your loved ones energy to enter your life again. You have to learn to connect with them on a different level of energy like how you connect with God. It's just a different level of relationship and communication. You will get there, just trust the process. 🥰
