@2recap: Replying to @Rainsfall Once every few weeks push a pipe cleaner (fuzzy stick) through it. The bowl and lid won’t need to be washed as frequently as a regular cat bowl, plus you don’t have to fill it as often. You just pop out the filter and then run the ceramic bowl and lid in the dishwasher.
