I feel like the guy totally had enough time to tell her what was going on with the client before sending her back out. She probably would’ve handled it better knowing how the client was feeling

I feel like there was enough time to say "we'll talk about it more after, but just know nothing went wrong here and she's emotional for personal reasons." at least 😅

If it was me I would need the manager to throw in a quick “it was nothing you did, you’re just fine” in the beginning convo, especially if I was new to the job and young.

I was a walk in once and sobbed uncontrollably on the hairdresser. My husband had been found having an affair and left me. I needed to feel like someone else and couldn’t explain it to her. We got there. It’s been 3 years and that woman has seen me through so much, figuring out when to pry, when to poke and when to comfort. The love I have for her is unmatched. You all are little blessings in disguise.

He should have said something like “you didn’t do anything wrong, she’s not upset with you, we can talk about why she’s upset later”

non silly moment for a second!! This video was about a real client who was struggling, and honestly it’s about how much salons NEED to communicate behind the scenes and handle those moments with care!!When stylists have context and support behind the scenes, we can show up SO much better for our clients in unexpected moments like this!! that’s really the heart of it… how much intention and compassion matter behind the chair, especially when someone’s going through something hard!!
If y’all or someone you know is struggling, please remember you’re not alone, and support is available!! 💜💜💜

Here I thought it would be that this was the first time pampering herself in years and having a shampoo relaxed all the tears out.
