From many years of experience NEVER REUSE A MOTOR once the head gasket blows, it’s very rare it’ll run 100% after to many parts get compromised from coolant mixing, pistons, rods, bearings, all gets ruined. 9/10 times ur better off getting a used motor, redoing the timing and gaskets while you have it out and go from there

Never do a head gasket without skimming the head or at very least checking the heads true! I’ve done 100’s and head always goes to machine shop

I know that feeling bruh I just fully rebuilt my heads and put a cam in and didn’t change my bearings so now I’m pulling the motor again for low oil pressure and metal in the oil 🥲🥲🥲

I repaired the head once in garage then oil cooler then replaced the head now again it needs headgasket within 6 months its been three time
