Work during high school and save every penny. Attend the cheapest community college you can find for your 2 year degree, then transfer to a partnered 4 year that accepts all of the credits you took and pick a degree that you know will get you jobs and that you won’t hate. Apply for internships during the last two years of college summers and network with people, also attend job fairs. You’ve got this and I believe in you. You don’t need to take on crippling debt, and ignore people that say you have to move out when you’re 18. The housing and job market is in shambles and you should save every last bit you can.

You do NOT have to go to college and I’ll do you one better, DONT if it’s not really what you want bc then ur just gonna be in dept over something you don’t even care abt which is literally the most gut wrenching feeling. I’m speaking from experience btw

Bro there’s literally no point in stressing, that time will come. The more you worry about what’s to come, the less you enjoy what’s currently happening. Being stressed on the inevitable will do nothing for you, and if you really do care, this outcome you say you’ll have doesn’t have to be a reality. So fuck worrying, and live in the moment, enjoying everything your life has to offer. THAT is your main concern right now, and if you live every day to the fullest your future will fall right into place.

Imma be real with y’all, if you need a gap year or can take one before starting college, TAKE IT. Also, college ain’t looking promising either nowadays unless you go into anything medical or along those lines, the job market is so trash so unfortunately now to get yourself a job guaranteed, it’d realistically be through connections(who you know, not what you know). The real question nowadays is do you wanna struggle to find jobs drowning in debt and added stress? Or just struggle finding a job? Remember, college nowadays wont guarantee you a job right after you graduate even with everything you learn there.
