VHS might honestly be the best format for SCP since it is just a bunch of small stories which are apart of one big "main story" in-between. honestly so excited

Nooooo. Y’all don’t understand this is a bad thing. An SCP movie would force copyrights onto your favorite scps, and make trademarks on a collaborative writing project. This would be bad as it would keep whatever scps are in the movie from being in video games and would force them off the wiki, essentially creating a separate canon.

I'm skeptical a movie about a online writing project which houses thousands of stories.. which stories will they include? What version of the foundation will they chose? Will they just make up their own scps and stories? I enjoy the fanmade stuff because I trust that fans of scp will know what they are making is tied to the boundaries of the scp world, but when it comes to trusting, holywood is not on the good list. I want this to be good, guess I will just have to wait and see.

How this got me feeling: VHS is literally one of my favourite horror movie franchises of all time and I think how they tell anthology stories is perfect for SCP because there is just too many popular and potential SCP stories that can be adapted into a movie so this being an anthology that can tell many stories in a single movie without it becoming confusing and convoluted is amazing. Let’s just hope the wrap around segment is good(if you’ve never watched a VHS movie, a wrap around segment is the main story being told in between the other segments)
