Our BodyTech Master Intensive was nothing short of incredible. 🔥 Over 53 dancers joined us between Zoom and in person, and watching these athletes attack brand new exercises, adapt, learn, and push through challenges is exactly why we do these intensives. The level of focus, discipline, and hard work this weekend was amazing to witness. 👏 Here is Julia demonstrating a new layout strengthening technique we introduced. One of the biggest issues I see with layouts is weakness through the supporting leg. Many dancers can create the shape temporarily, but they lack the strength and stability to properly support the extension with control and longevity. This exercise specifically targets: ✨ Supporting leg strength and stabilization ✨ Active hip flexion mechanics ✨ Deeper ranges through active chain engagement ✨ Layout control and extension support ✨ Stability within flexibility instead of passive flexibility alone The goal is not just flexibility. The goal is strength INSIDE the range so the body can safely support advanced skills with power, control, and consistency. That is where long term results are built.
