How much to you feed kittens ? Can you just leave the bowl of food out and let them eat whenever? If so when do I start feeding them measuring it out !

What is considered a “kitten”? I found a stray/feral kitten/cat at a walking trail, caught her and am now slowly socializing her. I can feel her spine/hip bones and I’m not sure how much to feed her or if I should feed her a mix of kitten/cat food so she gets extra calories to gain some weight. She’s on an all wet food diet and eats everything I place infront of her. Still working on gaining her trust and taking her to the vet to get a full exam. I did take her 3 days after capturing her and she was deemed “too feral.” She looks no older than a year old, but I can’t be too sure until I’m able to take her again. :-/

For kitten food rotation, is there a limit to how many types of food I rotate? Should I stick to ~3 for their whole kitten hood? Or can I continue rotating foods in (with the same slow introduction process for each one) until I find their favorites/to expose them to more types of food?

Any tips to get a kitten interested in wet food/pate? She will sniff and pretend to bury it. I put kibble on top of it too and same thing. She isn’t interested in churu or any broth/treats either (even crunchy). She only wants to eat dry food. Shes a little over 3 months old and I’ve had her for about 3 weeks. TIA!

do you have any foods you recommend for kittens with sensitive stomachs?? i’m at work rn most of the day trying to pay off my medical debt so i have to feed them dry food currently (they do stay very hydrated, im really trying to get to a point where i don’t have to have them on dry food but im a thousand dollars in debt still). both of my babies have diarrhea :( both have previously been dewormed and im not sure what’s going on other than a recent food transition but it was a while ago

Is it OK if I feed my kitten dry food with water added to it so that she gets hydration? I genuinely cannot stand the smell of the wet food and she doesn’t seem to like it either. She never eats at all, and it just ends up being wasted meanwhile she loves her kibble.
