But, Haaland is not even the correct spelling for his name. He changed it to be easier for international fans. His last name was Håland. Anyway, when he changed the spelling for fans, it appears he also meant for it to change the pronunciation. (I was born and raised in Finland, but live in the US, I don’t get annoyed when people mess up Finnish names including my own.)
