I remember telling my therapist that I "forget" how my mom treats me which is why I always end up back in the same situations and she cut me off and said "No... you're her child & you're looking for a mothering relationship in her... as a child should do. She just can't give it to you." So no... you're not dumb, you just want a mother. 💖✨
