It’s honestly such an awesome job, but it 1000000% depends on your stand. I’ve seen toxic stands and amazing ones, if you sense the slightest hint of toxicity at yours then RUNNN or transfer to a different stand. For actual tips tho, study study study study study, and also practice different ways to say “we don’t have this obviously fake ai drink you saw on Facebook” without saying it like that 😭😭 other than that just be yourself and be a yappaholic and make those bonds with your customers cuz the same people are gonna come through every day and it’s really gonna make your day and theirs when you can have a genuine conversation with them

Ugh ofc I would see this on my last day ever at 7 brew🙁🙁 I LOVED IT SO MUCH! Studying for your test is obviously good but once you apply what you learn and actually make drinks it makes more sense

study study study!! you’re going to love working there , at my stand every hour we switch positions which makes time go by faster!! but make convo with customers if you’re on lane, ask questions if you ever have them don’t be scared the shift leads are there to help you!

go ahead and study for your scoops and brewista tests bc the brewista test is 100 questions and u get 3 attempts depending on ur stand (mine gave me 5 and i passed the 5th time)

Coming from a baller here, study those scoops and flavors and don’t get overwhelmed!! The job can be super stressful whenever that screen gets full! That’s the beauty of it because you are going to learn and grow everyday! Just have to apply yourself! Don’t listen to the other people saying it’s toxic and etc, it’s how you make it:) stands are different and things change! You got this

Stressful at first but once you’ve got the recipes down it’s really fun! Just be yourself and become friends with your coworkers, they make the job so much fun if you all get along

They fired me on my second day of training bc I got 1 question wrong on my scoops.. they said I didn’t need 100% until day 5.. and I already worked 2 actual shifts and my first shift was bogo..

I would say it would be hard if you knew nothing about 7brew or coffee in general. I mean I didn’t have the best experience but I’m not going to rant about it. Study and pick up as many shifts as you can. I had to have emergency surgery during my training so things were different for me. I was kinda lost but I wish I would’ve studied more. They will just throw you in so study those scoops, recipes, fill lines, temps, and even get familiar with the secret menu. If you live where it’s hot prepare for extreme heat. You could be outside for hours.

my first piece of advice is quit. if that isn’t an option start studying NOW. like today. do not ever overshare. ever ever. stuff will spread like wildfire. buy a good sunscreen and keep it in your stand WITH YOUR NAME ON IT. take your test as soon as possible.
